Calm, relaxing bedrooms....

Relaxed and chilled Bohemian Style bedroom via Pinterest

Who ever said buying a house was stressful was sure right. Mortgages, solicitors and Piranha like estate agents,  so tempting to rent for ever, or run away with the deposit to Thailand.... so very tempting!!

However, then I wouldn't have a bedroom of my own to decorate and fill with pretty things. Guess I will just have to plod on and keep calm ...

haha i agree on renting forever. with the market being really weird these days, renting or escaping to bali sounds more tempting!

my son's just come back from Thailand, I suspect he's saying the same thing!

Hang on in there, it'll be worth it, I promise.

Regarding the stresses of buying a house..
This apartment in Buenos Aires was our 3rd real estate buy. We are For Sale now and our plan is to move back to NY and buy a house Upstate.
I am sort of enjoying the new house every few years thing we have gotten ourselves into :)
Good luck, try not to let it all get your down and my feelings are that after having rented for a long time, I never ever want to go back to that .. owning is so much better.

Hang in there - it is worth it! Love these rooms, esp. The bed under the eaves...

Love these rooms! and don't worry, it'll happen. Seemed to take me forever, but when I found "the one", I knew it right away, it all fell into place - don't give up hope! ~Zona

I love the abundant light in all these images. And yes, buying a house sounds frightening, but the thought of being able to create your own little bed cove like the 3rd to last image sounds AMAZING.

I just notices that both my bedroom and my sister, Faith's bedroom are both featured in this post. so sweet!

I like the African style one. It is very modern and it does give a wild atmosphere to the bedroom. Last year I travelled to Argentina, got an apartment rental in Buenos Aires and the room was inspired in the Arabic countries. Everything was so mystical: there was a tapestry, a soft light of a reddish color, and a painting of an Arabic woman sitting in the desert. Very interesting, you would have loved it!
